We're glad you're considering graduate study at the Department of Geological Sciences.  We have a great group of faculty and students who are conducting research in a variety of exciting areas. 

Research is the core of the M.S. and PhD program, so it is very important that you make sure that we are doing research in your particular area of interest, and that faculty in that area are currently taking on new students. We strongly encourage you to contact one or more faculty.
